Comic Con 2009: Where the Wild Things Are

Spike Jonze’s long-awaited adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s beloved children’s book has been greeted with one of the most enthusiastic responses at Comic Con (rivaling Avatar and Kick Ass). The 10 minutes that was shown included scenes of the creatures playing and building a fort, and apparently it left audiences stunned. They have also released a small featurette on the films production that included interviews with Sendak and Jonze, as well as some gorgeous new footage. Right now everyone’s anticipation has gone to the stratosphere. Poor James Cameron has had his thunder stolen.
