First Trailer for ‘On The Road’ Features Kristen Stewart Topless & Dirty Dancing

The official trailer for On The Road has been released. The film is based on the novel by American writer Jack Kerouac, a largely autobiographical work that was based on his spontaneous road trips across mid-century America. It is often considered a defining work of the postwar beat generation that has been a huge influence on many poets, writers, actors and musicians, including Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Jim Morrison, Hunter S. Thompson, and many more. The film is directed by Walter Salles and stars Sam Riley as Sal Paradise and Garrett Hedlund as Dean Moriarty.

I dunno… I read On the Road in college many moons ago. I worship the book to this day and it’s one of the many I want to carry into my afterlife. I can still remember some of the ahem! critical assumptions…that Kerouac wrote it on speed, for one.

I dunno… I hope this wonderful book hasn’t been degraded into some kind of teen beer party.
