New Trailer for Inglorious Basterds
A new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds makes it on to the web. The film received a lukewarm reception at Cannes (some even considering it Tarantino’s worst film by far). It currently getting a huge reedit with the Harvey Weinstein pressuring him to scrap at least 40 minutes from the original 2 hour 40 minute cut. The trailer hints at a complex and potentially clever plot. But unfortunately a lot of the intended laughs and “cool dialogue” fall completely flat (with Brad Pitt’s accent bordering on shrill). It worries me a bit. But let us hope Tarantino succeeds in the end and gives us a film that is at least worthy of his filmography. Decide for yourself.
