Sound on Sight Radio #285: Ape Conquest!
Apes. They’re everywhere these days! This past weekend, Rupert Wyatt’s entry into the Planet of the Apes canon, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, won over both audiences and critics around the world -but where Derek, Justine and/or Simon impressed? Find out in a two-part (non-spoiler / spoiler) review. They’ll also be talking about Project Nim, a new documentary from the director of Man on Wire that treads eerily similar thematic ground. Simon Howell is a native Haligonian (look it up), and has lived in Montreal roughly half his life.
