The Televerse #65- Spotlight on Treme season 3 with Dave Walker

With Thanksgiving keeping TV off the air for half the week, it’s a short show list this podcast. We more than make up for that, however, with our mega spotlight on Treme’s finale, as well as its season as a whole. Dave Walker of joins us for our nearly hour-long look at what has been an outstanding season of storytelling and music. Before that, though, we go through a truncated week in TV, including the Tuesday comedies (Ben and Kate, New Girl, Mindy Project, and Go On), Parenthood, Top Chef Seattle, The Amazing Race, Bob’s Burgers, The Good Wife, Homeland, The Voice, and Revolution’s fall finale.

I definitely agree with Simon that Josie should have gone home for under cooking a turkey last week on Top Chef. Now it could have been a faulty oven, and some ovens vary slightly with temperature, but she should have been on top of that. Plus, she’s made too many mistakes in the past. Besides season 2, wasn’t she in another reunion season or a very special episode? She should definitely pack her knives and GO!
Of the other two returning cheftestants, I like CJ, though he sometimes goofs making him inconsistent. And Stefan seems to be having more fun this time around than the last time he was on. He was so egotistical and annoying in the past but less so now. I’m giving him time to show his true colors though…
The dude who wears his glasses on his forehead is more annoying than Stefan ever was but appears that he’ll be around for a while. Ugh…

I don’t make a point of watching Christmas programming but I will probably watch at some point in December: Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol (my favorite!), Christmas at Pee Wee’s Playhouse, and the movie Holiday Inn.
