Thirsty for Blood? Check out the ‘Conan the Barbarian’ Red-Band Trailer
A new red band trailer has dropped for the upcoming Jason Momoa action film directed by Marcus Nispel. Unlike the majority of cinephiles, I actually sort of like Nispel. Sure his Friday the 13th remake sucked but I was satisfied with his Texas Chainsaw film and I strangely liked his Viking adventure Pathfinder. In my book, Nispel is very much like Zack Sunder. The two can make a film look good and both can stage some marvellous action sequences, but neither gives a hoot about plot and character. They also both like using fake CGI blood, which just looks awful.
Conan the Barbarian stars Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ron Perlman, Leo Howard, Steve O’Donnell, Raad Rawi Fassir, Nonso Anozie, Bob Sapp and Milton Welsh.

Wow. The blood splattering is this trailer is just over-the-top ridiculous. Is it possible this movie won’t be as bad as it looks?
