TIFF 2013: Matthew McConaughey-starring ‘Dallas Buyer’s Club’ releases its first trailer

Actor Matthew McConaughey has been experiencing a career resurgence over the last two years. Rising to prominence with performances in films such as Dazed and Confused and Contact, McConaughey has recently found himself once again garnering critical acclaim with performances in films such as Magic Mike, Mud, and Killer Joe. Thus, many were interested to see his take on real-life figure Ron Woodroof in his newest feature. Titled Dallas Buyer’s Club, McConaughey stars alongside  Jared Leto, Jennifer Garner,  and Steve Zahn. The first trailer for the film, which will be making its world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, has now been released, and can be seen below.

There was once a time when I thought Scarface was the best movie ever made, and Home Improvement was appointment television for me.
