great to see dayereh on here! Iranian new wave have done some really remarkable things.
It’s also really intriguing that you proposed ‘the piano teacher’ as haneke’s masterpiece; I’ve often considered code unknown to be a stronger film, by a narrow margin (I’m not sure if it’d be his best), and it is probably also haneke’s most accessible work (certainly one of the easiest to make sense of for my non-arthouse friends). But you’ve made a good case for my giving the piano teacher another, much closer look.

And here’s me thinking it was such an obscure film – I’m glad at least two other people have seen ‘Red Road’! I’m also impatient for ‘Fish Tank’ to come out…

I was a bit let down when the films shifts gears and begins to explain the mystery but it truly is a good film.
