Loving the muscular feel of the trailer, and the movie’s directed by Oliver Stone so hopefully he’ll deliver another entertaining, testosterone-pumped film.
But there’s a few problems:
  1. the SHAMELESS theft of the priceless prison scene from the Blues Brothers.  You do not attempt to touch greatness, you leave it alone and worship it from afar.  For shame!
  2. Hasn’t Shia LaBeouf done enough damage in the epic disaster that was The Crystal Skull?  Why be in a sequel to another great movie of the ages?  Why does he hate us so much to keep hurting us like this?
  3. Your money is most definitely sleeping, don’t let this beefy trailer lie to you!  When your dough’s collecting 0.00000002% interest so it’s not just sleeping, it’s in a damn coma.
  4. Michael Douglas looks disturbingly attractive as a newly released ex-con.  We all know there’s going to be a love scene, so let’s pray it involves him flexing his prison sculpted body.  We really, really don’t need to see Shia LaBoring de-nuding himself.
The film will also star Charlie Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Josh Brolin, and Frank Langella.  Written by Bryan Burrough and Allan Loeb, it’s set to be released on April 23, 2010.

What is it with A list directors making sequels now. First this and next is Inside Man 2?
    Strange?
