Trailer: We Are What We Are (SOMOS LO QUE HAY) is one of the best movies of the year.

Written and directed by Jorge Michel Grau, the Mexican film We Are What We Are (SOMOS LO QUE HAY) debuted at Cannes this year and concerns a mother and her three teen children who are cannibals, and have to figure out how to fend for themselves after the death of the father, who had previously always provided for them. The film remains on my top 10 movies of 2010 still. Listen to our review from the Sordid Cinema podcast episode #13.

We also had a chance to catch up with Jorge Michel Grau and should be posting our interview sometime this week.
