Talk about one of the most disjointed trailers I’ve ever seen. It starts off like a weepie Iraq War Lifetime movie but then it turns into a crazy ex husband Lifetime movie. With a pedigree of Suzanne Bier’s original story (and her 2004 film) and Oscar nominee Jim Sheridan’s directing I’m certain the finished product will be something more thoughtful than the trailer. The acting trio of Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Tobey Maguire shouldn’t disappoint. Lionsgate will release the film on December 4^th.
