WB Announces the Danny Elfman & Tim Burton 25th Anniversary Music Box; 16 CD Limited Edition

The two creative geniuses responsible for such films as Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, and many more have once again teamed up in order to commemorate their 25 year history together.

Warner Bros. is issuing a “Danny Elfman & Tim Burton 25th Anniversary Music Box,” set for a December release, just in time for Christmas. The 16 cd box set will include over 18 hours of music spanning the Burton/Elfman collaborative efforts as well as 7 hours of previously unreleased material and will also include rarities such as additional masters, cut songs, song and score demos, work tapes, orchestra-only song mixes, and foreign-language songs. Also included in the set will be a Hardcover book that will include a foreword done by Johnny Depp, as well as a DVD that contains a conversation between Burton and Elfman.

This is a limited edition box set with only 1,000 copies set to be made. The box will be made available starting in December at a retail price of $499.
